Gansu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention

  Chair: Dr Xiaoshu Zhang

Dr. Xiaoshu Zhang, Deputy Director of the Gansu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Chief Physician. He is recognized as a Leading Talent of Gansu Province, a National Immunization Program Technical Working Group member, and a first-generation Backbone Talent in Gansu Province's healthcare sector. Dr. Zhang is also a member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Medical Association's Public Health Branch, an Executive Member of the Meningococcal Disease Prevention and Control Branch of the China Vaccine Industry Association, Vice President of the Seventh Council of the Gansu Provincial Preventive Medicine Association, Chairman of the Vaccine and Immunization Professional Committee, and a member of the Infection Immunology and Prevention Committee of the Gansu Provincial Immunology Society. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Science Popularization Committee of the Gansu Provincial Medical Association and as an adjunct professor and master's supervisor at Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Zhang has been dedicated to immunization programs, preventing and controlling vaccine-preventable infectious diseases, and vaccine applications. He has published over 20 papers in SCI-indexed and national journals, authored three monographs, and led or participated in nearly 10 scientific research projects.


Hong Kong Polytechnic University

  Chair: Associate Professor Lin Yang

Dr. Lin Yang is Associate Professor and leader of the Primary Health Care Area of Excellence at the School of Nursing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She serves as the Deputy Chair of the Infection Control Society of the Guangdong Hospital Association, and the Deputy Chair of the Intensive Care Nursing Society of the Guangdong Nursing Association. She has received the Young Scientist Award at the European Influenza Conference, the Distinguished Research Award, and the Social Service Award from the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has published over 130 articles in international research journals, including Nature Cardiovascular Research, JAMA Network Open, Environmental Health Perspectives, Diabetes, and Clinical Infectious Diseases, with more than 12,000 citations in total.


Lanzhou University

  Chair: Professor Zuoyi Jiao

Professor Zuoyi Jiao is Executive Deputy Director, Medical Department of Lanzhou University, Vice President of the Lanzhou University Second Hospital; Vice President of Gansu Provincial Red Cross Society. He is also the Director, Department of General Surgery I, The Second Hospital of Lanzhou University; Deputy Director, National Key Clinical Discipline of General Surgery; Deputy Director, Gansu Provincial Key Laboratory of Digestive System Tumors; Deputy Director, Tumor Clinical Medicine Center. He is also the Leader of the Youth Innovation Talent Team of Longyuan Province; Recipient of the 16th Gansu Province May Fourth Youth Medal. Pudong New Area Center for Disease Control and Prevention

  Chair: Dr Chuchu Ye

Dr Chuchu Ye is Associate Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor, Director of the Acute Infectious Diseases Department at the Pudong New Area Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Fudan University. For the past 12 years, she has been dedicated to acute infectious disease surveillance and emergency response. Her research focuses on infectious disease surveillance and early warning systems, disease burden estimation for key populations, and vaccine effectiveness evaluation. She has participated in several national major science and technology projects, as well as various research projects at the municipal and district levels in Shanghai and Pudong New Area. In recent years, she has led five research projects, contributed to three academic books, and published 16 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. She has been selected for the “Shanghai Medical Rising Star: Public Health Leader,” “Pudong New Area Discipline Leader in Health System,” and “Pudong New Area Outstanding Young Medical Talent” programs. She has received several honors, including a nomination for the 17th “Silver Snake Award” in Shanghai, the “Pudong New Area March 8th Red Banner Holder,” “Pudong New Area Women’s Achievement Pioneer,” and the “Pudong Worker Science and Technology Innovation Talent Finalist Award.” Under her leadership, the team successfully established the Shanghai Youth Civilization Unit and was awarded the Shanghai May Fourth Youth Medal for Collectives.


Shandong University

  Chair: Professor Qi Zhao

Dr. Qi Zhao is the Professor & duty head of Department of Epidemiology in Shandong University, and the Honorary Professor of Deakin University in Australia. Dr. Qi's research interest mainly focuses on climate change, urban development, and human health. Dr. Qi has published over 30 research articles as the first or corresponding author on The Lancet Planetary Health, PLOS Medicine, Environmental Health Perspectives and other peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Qi contributes to the “Climate Change Adaptation Strategy 2035” of the People's Republic of China.


University of Sydney

  Chair: Associate Professor Ying Zhang

Dr. Ying Zhang is Associate Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Sydney. She is a senior epidemiologist with nearly 20 years of experience focusing on climate change and global public health. Dr. Zhang is the founding chair of the Sustainability, Climate, and Health Collaboration at the University of Sydney, the founder and co-director of the Lancet Countdown Oceania on Health and Climate Change, and an elected Fellow of the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology.


Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention

   Chair: Dr Jianming Jiang

Dr Jianming Jiang is Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Director of Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Vaccine, Infectious Disease Prevention and Control. Dr. Jiang has been engaged in practice of disease control and prevention and epidemiological research on infectious diseases for a long time. She has presided over and completed a number of scientific research projects including the National Key Science and Technology Support Program and the Provincial Major Science and Technology Projects. Meanwhile, She has published more than 10 books as the editor-in-chief, and published more than 100 academic papers related to infectious diseases in international journals. Dr. Jiang has made innovative achievements in the fields of Dabie bandavirus infection, HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis prevention and control, and has won many awards including the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award and Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award. Dr. Jiang was awarded the title of Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions to Health by the National Health Commission, and she also qualifies as a high-level talent in the field of public health.
